[[Calderis]] is the city at the heart of Eimloc. We are at the festival and the big players are [[Saint Rennick]] (and the dragon [[Ankalagon]]) a champion of the [[Anahar|Soulweaver]] and the champions of the Synod Superus ![[Synod Superus#People]] ## In Session We open at Bale Rock with the religious dick measuring contest. I wonder if [[Ankalagon]] is a Void/Astral dragon. [[Blaze]] knows [[Anahar]] beauce of a place called Waver’s Fane (Nearly absconded temple with a few devotees on northwest part of island) here on [[Eimloc]]. [[Blaze]] also knows [[Saint Rennick]] thanks to ‘usurper of witches’ because [[Saint Rennick]] overthrew a coven of witches who took over country on [[Ortana]]. ‘Finocka’ is how Austin pronounced it. Warforged are a source of controversy because of their original purpose as a weapon and also philosophical reasons because of their likely sentience. ‘[[Anther]]’ companion of [[Saint Rennick]]. Septecentennial 700 years It is noon when a bunch of gongs ring out, which is celebratory or ominous depending on how long you have spent on guard duty in a city that might be besieged. There is a crackling energy that seems to be overtaking the crows in this moment, with sparks and crackles. In the center of the dais here on bale rock a massive explosion of energy goes off, and we see a bunch of water, fire, elementals, as well as humanoid esque energy figures. [[Blaze]] knows: - The bedrock of this culture is around two titans. - It is not shocking to see an elemental, but it is unusual for them to show up like this. - There’s an even split in elementals between water and fire. There’s an owlbear rodeo so someone is going to try to kill us. Shellonius Wolf - AC 13 Hp 29 Attack +6 1d8 + 6 piercing Shellonius Bird - AC 15 HP 40 Attack +6 1d4+5 ``` 22 - Saint Rennic 21 - Anther 20 - Ottie 20 - Synod Superus 19 - Notta 19 - Nerissa 18 - Weird elementals 15 - Blaze 15 - Shellonius 15 - Shellonius summons 13 - Lif 11 - Keansy 10 - Shenanigans ## Round 1 Saint Rennic uses a longsword and is an aasimar. These elementals are weird. Anther is casting a cone of cold against the water elementals. Ankalagon took off, without flapping their wings, and soars off. Ottie had to make a wisdom save when they hit the weird elemental. Ottie took psychic damage when they failed the saving throw. Synod are showing off (they’re definitely not level 20) Keansy is hearing voices. We and all the guards defeat the elementals. ``` ![[Bale Rock]] Weird elementals released an explosion of energy when they are defeated. We make wisdom saving throws. Ottie and Nerissa fail, as well as the bystanders, there is a flash inside of them with an image of a golden light among the void. We have defended [[Eimloc]]. [[Saint Rennick]] uses vial to collect paper like ashen remains of weird elemental hands it to Anther. [[Saint Rennick]] says to us: “once everything calms down I’ll be on the road on the way to the [[starlight amphitheater]], I think we have something’s to talk about.”
