[[Uri]] made a really powerful blade
[[Click]] and [[Aersinte]] and I are flying to meet with [[General Qygen]] .
Report from rangers near [[Blisbane]] and [[Baey Bluffs]]:
- tailed devils through woods to Northeast of [[Baey Bluffs]] to place with giant spiders who were trying to bring back stones
[[Archmage Sylberos]] believes [[Iggwilv]] may be doing something with [[TTRPG/DND/Cruthea/Religion/Deities/Lolth]] temple.
[[Click]] has an idea for a magical printing press:
Say something like:
“I have been reading some of [[Forrest]]’s early notes and he did not believe in the schools of magic. He thought they were all false separations. Look he even started sketching how the same rune elements are used across different schools and spells.
That got me thinking about how spell scrolls are made. Now this is not my strongest area of expertise; but my understanding is it’s a combination of runes here that represent the specific spell combined with the spell caster tying the weave to that object.
So I had this idea, and there’s easy versions and there’s hard versions.
The easiest version is we work together to create plates, carved carefully, with runes for different spells.
This gets dipped in the appropriately high value inks and then evenly mechanically pressed into the parchment.
This takes care of the runes, now we just need the weave.
My idea here to help us scale up production is a crystal that many apprentice spellcasters focus on and then a series of lenses, look here, inspired by the beholder you see, and use that to focus the enchanting intent on the pages.
Now the more complicated version here is we take [[Forrest]]’s early work and we push it. We start re-developing magic runic systems, stripped to the basic, and create interlocking rune elements, you see liked this, and that way we can do spell development at a rate no one has ever been able to do before.
I think you can see where this could go.”
