Last session was [[TTRPG/DND/Cruthea/Umbral Spark Campaign/Session Notes/2026-09-23|2026-09-23]] ## Current Party - [[Chelo Nian]] - [[Estellene Atropos]] - [[Tajka Walenth]] - [[Dax Davenett Derichael Daydrich the Druid IV]] - [[Pemme]] - [[Roth Ira]] - [[Barnie Marsh]] ## Before Session Our mission is to find [[Ilona Rossack]], a courier related to the [[Center for the Innovation of the Arcane Arts]], who was supposed to deliver a message to [[Merrick Voss]]. If we are successful then [[Kee]]/his secret funder will pay us 12,000 gp. This courier is likely headed back to [[Jogetev]]. There are ~16 days until Chelo's sending stones from [[Ember and Ash]] are ready. We are running away from the assassin who shot us full of crossbow bolts, we are headed towards the Grey Haven We are in [[Port Innsmouth]]. ## During Session ``` Battle at the docks 16 - Mysterious 15 - Ilana 14 - Pemme 13 - Estellene 13 - Dax 10- Chelo 10 - Barnie 4 - Roth Chelo is an unconscious hedgehog Chelo told Ilana to go The Grey Havens Roth got knocked unconscious. A member of the [[lucent guard]] has arrived [[Ishiru]] Ishiru is running away ``` [[Ishiru Civric]] wants to catch us [[Chelo Nian]] made himself look like [[Ilona Rossack]] and went into [[The Last Anchor]] to cause panic. [[Roth Ira]] is trying to confront [[Ishiru Civric]] [[Ishiru Civric]] knows [[Kee]] - “What do you know about Kee?” - Chelo asks Ishiru - Ishiru is a Sentinel in the Lucent Guard - Ishiru says he does not know who [[Kee]] works for [[Ishiru Civric]] is a true believer in The [[Lucent Guard]], they sometimes work for the [[Protectorate of the Umbral Primacy]], but they do not trust the [[Radomir Umbrael|Umbral Prime]]. [[Ishiru Civric]] is here on [[Lucent Guard]] business, but probably not [[Lucent Guard]] orders. [[Ishiru Civric]] was in [[The Lofted Spirits]] when we were there on that first night. [[Ilona Rossack]] interrogation: - Had a message for [[Merrick Voss]]. - Had never done a job quite like this before, some members of the institute use couriers to sometimes move things indirectly. - This was a delivery, something that would enable [[Merrick Voss]] to teleport, a supply of [[Residuum]]. - Lost the [[Residuum]] in the crash. - Pulls out a ‘message stone’, only plays for its intended recipient [[Pemme]] is going to fiddle with the message stone to see if they can crack it. - Woman’s voice: “I heard about your recent report to A.K. regarding questions about my Department’s request for an increased allotment of residuum and your concerns about my resource spend. Kindly report to me at once upon your return to the Old Throne so we can discuss this matter. –V.K.” - [[Andres Krall]] & [[Velas Korrayne]] - [[House Drazhel]] got brought up because the stone is teal and the house is teal - probably not a real connection, but a thing to keep in mind [[Chelo Nian]] asks [[Ilona Rossack]] Dr. [[Velas Korrayne]] is the director of the department that does frontline experimentations. [[Ilona Rossack]] gets very cagey when we ask about [[Andres Krall]], he is returning to [[Jogetev]] apparently, Ilana bumped into one of his department’s couriers and he is supposed to be back soon. - [[Andres Krall]] is third in command at the [[Center for the Innovation of the Arcane Arts]]. ## Chelo's Messages
