Ellana is a tall, beautiful woman in her fifties. She habitually dresses in black and is known for her regal bearing. She was the wife of Calar, and is [[Prince Andru]]'s sister-in-law. Ellana has very strong suspicions concerning Andru's role in Calar's death, but she is wise enough to let it pass. She dreams of seeing her son [[Aric Cozar]] on the throne of Bral.
