Originally an ice and earth comet, Malishan eventually fell into a stable orbit and began to thaw. Now it is a large blob of water surrounded by a few small chunks of earth, all bound together by a common atmosphere released in the thawing process. The [[Antilan Empire|Antilans]] claimed Malishan as their own Cycles ago, and use the cluster as a watering post and a staging base for local invasions.
