# Greyspine Mines
The Greyspine mines are the most extensive in the Northern mountains. Stretching east for several miles, and deep beneath the earth.
## General Description
- Tunnels are about ten feet wide and ten feet tall throughout most, mixture of stones, with occasional ore deposits
- Tunnel system is complex, but not unmappable, relies on major circular chamber to stage supplies which act as hubs down various spokes where mining occurs
- Newer tunnels actually have rudimentary rail system relying upon magical propulsion
- Older tunnels relied on sleds to pull up ramps and pulleys to handle vertical movements
- Most mining is done by hand tools, with the newest mines also relying on magically enhanced tools to help break through hard rock
- Explosive are rarely used due to how extensive the tunnel system is and difficulty of assessing collapse risk, will be used on extraordinarily hard rock
